Timed to the launch date

Launch and release videos.

The film that carries a launch. Product, device, platform, funding round or regulatory milestone, timed to the date.

A launch video is the film that carries a launch: a product, device, platform, funding round or regulatory milestone. Lumen Narrative handles launch video production in Toronto for technology, health and life sciences teams, planned around one date and every channel the rollout uses.

The hero visuals are designed once and reused everywhere, so the product looks the same wherever a buyer meets it, from paid social to the press page.

One date, many channels.

The film is planned around both: one hero cut that tells the whole story, and every version the rollout needs, from paid social to the press page.

  • Device and product launch films
  • Funding round and milestone announcements
  • Paid social and direct response creative
  • Product pages and press kits

Where launch films carry the date.

Sectors where a launch has one date, many audiences and a product that is hard to show.

Launches, in the work.

HLTH's hydrogen machine was a full product campaign. The DNA Company's Gene Box launch ran inside an ongoing content operation.

Full product campaign

HLTH

Hydrogen machine · Launch and release video
The problem
A therapeutic grade hydrogen machine in a market crowded with lookalike devices. Everything that makes it different is technical, and none of it is visible in a photograph.
What we made
The entire marketing package: hero visuals and the product film, the direct response and masterclass creative that ran off it, and every cutdown the channels required.
Why it works
The film demonstrates the technical argument instead of asserting it, and the hero visuals look the same everywhere a buyer meets the product.
Ongoing content operation

The DNA Company

Functional genomics · Interview series
The problem
A subject that has to be taught before it can be sold. Not one video, but a permanent output of education, brand and direct response content.
What we made
The Gene Box launch campaign, the Master Your Genes module series, a cinematic brand trailer, a 38 episode long form series, monthly reels and paid creative.
Why it works
Recurring shoot days and a fixed post pipeline. The calendar fills itself, the look never drifts, and one shoot day feeds education, brand and advertising at once.

Planned back from the launch date.

One point of contact from the first call to the last rollout version, and after it.

01

Discovery

We learn your world: the product, the audience and what the film has to achieve. Papers, demo and time with your experts, so the facts are right before a word is written.

02

Story and script

A story a newcomer can follow from start to finish. You see the outline, then the script, and nothing is filmed or animated until you approve it.

03

Production

Filming, 3D, motion graphics and data visualization, planned around your schedule and your people's time, with style frames and early cuts along the way.

04

Revisions

Review rounds agreed up front. Your team leaves notes directly on the film in Frame.io, and every change is tracked until the cut is signed off.

05

Delivery

The master plus every version you need: website, social, events, sales and archive. Captions, transcripts and source files included.

06

Support throughout

One point of contact from the first call to final delivery, and after it. A new cutdown, an updated number, a version for the next event.

Launch video production, answered.

What do you deliver with a launch video?
A hero cut that tells the whole story, plus every version the rollout needs: paid social, direct response creative, product pages and press kits, in every aspect ratio and platform. Captions, transcripts and source files are included, all cut from the same master.
Can the launch film be reused across ads and the product page?
Yes, that is how it is planned. The hero visuals are designed once and reused across the product page, the ads and the press kit, so the product looks the same everywhere a buyer meets it, which is what makes a premium price credible.
What do you need from us to quote?
The audience, the goal, the deadline, and whatever technical material exists. A white paper, a deck, a product page or a fifteen minute scoping call is usually enough for us to scope the production and come back with a plan.
How does review and approval work?
Review rounds are agreed up front, so there are no surprises. You approve the outline and the script before anything is filmed or animated, then your team leaves notes directly on each cut in Frame.io, and every change is tracked until the film is signed off.
Is everything done in house?
Yes. Scripting, production, 3D, motion design, sound and finishing are handled under one roof, so there is one standard from first frame to final delivery and one point of contact from the first call to the last version.
Where are you based?
