One shoot day

Interview series, one shoot day.

One shoot day, engineered to produce a quarter of content: a long form episode plus a run of short clips.

An interview series is one shoot day engineered to produce a quarter of content: a long form episode plus a run of short clips. Lumen Narrative handles interview series production in Toronto for life sciences, healthcare and research teams that need a steady output of video content.

A question set is built against your content calendar, and every speaker is captured in a single controlled block. Recurring shoot days and a fixed post pipeline mean the calendar fills itself and the look never drifts.

One shoot day, a quarter of content.

Every session is cut into long form episodes and a run of short clips from each of them, with captions, all in the same look.

Functional genomics · Interview series
The problem
A subject that has to be taught before it can be sold. Not one video, but a permanent output of education, brand and direct response content.
What we made
The Gene Box launch campaign, the Master Your Genes module series, a cinematic brand trailer, a 38 episode long form series, monthly reels and paid creative.
Why it works
Recurring shoot days and a fixed post pipeline. The calendar fills itself, the look never drifts, and one shoot day feeds education, brand and advertising at once.

Ontario College of Family Physicians

Physician films · KOL and leadership films
The problem
Real physicians on camera for World Family Doctor Day, with the value of the profession felt rather than stated, asking as little time as possible of doctors who have none to spare.
What we made
A multi camera interview production capturing several physicians in a single controlled block, cut into campaign films, highlight pieces and social cuts, with full transcripts.
Why it works
Each physician gave an hour, and the College received a hero film, a set of highlight pieces and a month of social content.

A fixed pipeline, month after month.

Recurring shoot days, a fixed post pipeline and one point of contact throughout.

Interview series production, answered.

What do you deliver with an interview series?
A quarter of content from one shoot day: long form episodes plus a run of short clips cut from each of them, with captions. Typical uses are podcast and long form series, monthly social content, educational module series and practitioner training libraries.
How does one shoot day produce a quarter of content?
The question set is built against your content calendar before the shoot, and every speaker is captured in a single controlled block. Recurring shoot days and a fixed post pipeline then keep the output steady and the look consistent from one month to the next.
What do you need from us to quote?
The audience, the goal, the deadline, and whatever technical material exists. A white paper, a deck, a product page or a fifteen minute scoping call is usually enough for us to scope the production and come back with a plan.
How does review and approval work?
Review rounds are agreed up front, so there are no surprises. You approve the outline and the script before anything is filmed or animated, then your team leaves notes directly on each cut in Frame.io, and every change is tracked until the film is signed off.
Is everything done in house?
Yes. Scripting, production, 3D, motion design, sound and finishing are handled under one roof, so there is one standard from first frame to final delivery and one point of contact from the first call to the last version.
